Haven't read The Host but now I will. I can't give one good reason why I enjoyed the Twilight series, but I did. I find most adults can't defend that either.

This is my most recent favorite book, Crooked Little Vein. Something about it's irreverence, innuendos, wry humor, and wit just made me fall in love with it. (In fact I just lent it to one of my best friends to read). It's slightly satirical - hidden within it's depths is a touch of social commentary without the preachy-ness that sometimes happens in novels of that sort.
